How Rahal Movers Started
Rahal Movers began in 2010 with one truck, four men and a very simple observation: almost nobody in Abu Dhabi was happy with their moving company. People told the same stories over and over. A price agreed on the phone that doubled by the afternoon. A crew that turned up with no boxes. A wardrobe dismantled by someone who had clearly never seen one before, and screws that vanished somewhere between the two addresses. A damaged table and a company that stopped answering the phone.
None of those problems required a clever solution. They required someone to simply do the ordinary things properly — survey the job before quoting, bring enough materials, send enough people, use the right size of truck, and stand behind the work afterwards. That was the whole business plan, and fifteen years later it still is.
Today we are one of the more established moving companies in Abu Dhabi, with a full fleet, a dedicated warehouse in Mussafah, and crews working across the emirate every day of the week. But the structure has not changed much. We are still a family-run operation. The owner still answers the phone. And the vast majority of our work still comes from people who used us once and then told a neighbour.

From One Truck to a Full Fleet
The First Truck
Rahal Movers opens with a single three-tonne truck and a four-man crew, working mainly small apartment shifts around Mussafah and Shabiya. Every quote is done in person, a habit that never changed.
Villa Work Begins
Word spreads through Khalifa City and Mohammed Bin Zayed City. We add larger vehicles and expand the crew to handle full villa relocations with dismantling and reassembly as a standard inclusion.
Commercial Division
Our first major office relocation on Hamdan Street leads to a dedicated commercial team, trained in IT equipment handling and floor-plan labelling for zero-downtime weekend moves.
Warehouse Opens
We open our own storage facility in Mussafah Industrial Area, allowing customers to bridge gaps between tenancies without booking two separate moves.
Emirate-Wide Coverage
Regular daily operations across Al Reem Island, Yas Island, Saadiyat, Al Reef, Al Raha, Al Shamkha, Shakhbout City, Baniyas and Al Ain, plus routine inter-emirate work to Dubai.

We Quote Honestly

We Employ Our Own Crew
Every mover who enters your home is our employee, trained by us, in our uniform. We do not subcontract, and we do not hire casual labour on the morning of a job to make up numbers.
Materials Are Included
Cartons, bubble wrap, foam, stretch film, tape and blankets are part of the price. Charging for packing tape halfway through a move is one of the oldest tricks in this industry and we refuse to play it.

Packing Specialists
Trained in materials and technique — glassware, artwork, electronics, wardrobes and kitchens each have their own method. They label everything by room and content.
Carpenters
Handle dismantling and reassembly of beds, wardrobes, dining tables, desks and shelving. Fittings are bagged and tagged to the item they belong to.
Drivers & Loaders
Experienced with Abu Dhabi routes, building access and load-securing. They know how to stack a truck so nothing shifts between the two addresses.
Why Customers Keep Coming Back
Repeat business is unusual in this industry. Most people move rarely, and most moving companies never hear from a customer twice. A significant share of our work is repeat customers or direct referrals, and when we ask why, the answers are almost always the same three things.
